A Chartered accountant in India draws an average salary between 6-7 lacks, lower side being 4 lacks and higher side being 22 lack per annum. Just being a CA is not sufficient, the salary of a chartered accountant also varies depending upon the factors like ,the number of attempts taken to clear the CA exam, if you are a rank holder in CA Exams then this increases your chance of getting a higher package, your articleship experience, your knowledge, conceptual clarity of certain topics, place of work is also an important factor in determining the salary, type of profile of matters, salary differs for type of profile. At initial level or freshers level, it is better to join a Firm where you get a lot of work to do, here a lot of work means great exposure in the field, you will learn here how to deal with the client or how to deal with an income tax officer.
